Do You Accept Artist Submissions?2018-06-14T12:11:36-07:00

Yes – but there are requirements:

  • All submitted material must be previously unreleased original compositions. No exceptions.
  • We require all submissions be 24bit / 96k format – completed mixes only.
  • Artist bio, artist photo, and project documentation and description are required.
  • Physical copies of submitted materials are not returned unless a postage-prepaid, self-addressed return envelope is provided.

Digital Submissions:
Digital submissions must be sent via WeTransfer, Dropbox direct download links, Hightail, or other digital file transfer service. No email attachments, SoundCloud page links or private streaming links, please.

(Email requests such as “check out my soundcloud page” or “here is a sample of my latest” or “I want to be an artist on a label” or “what do I need to do to be a musician”, etc. will not be responded to.)

Current response time to general submission requests is approximately 6-12 months from date of receipt.

Each item in the webshop can be added to your shopping cart by first choosing a format (if required) and then clicking on the “add to cart” button.

Once added, an item can be removed by clicking the small “x” in the right-most column of the item’s row in the cart. You can also adjust quantities and update your cart’s contents before checking out.

After adding all of the items to your cart, click the “Proceed To Checkout” button below the items in your cart. Enter your billing details, any additional comments and payment information.

Orders usually ship within a few days. Download links are delivered immediately via email as well as on the order confirmation page, and in your account history.

Download links are emailed to you immediately after payment. They are also listed on your order confirmation page, as well as on your account page. The download links are good for 24 hours, and up to three download attempts. If you have trouble downloading the files within the allotted time, then please email [email protected] and we will refresh the link.

Please keep in mind that 24-bit files are large and downloads will typically take 30 minutes or more – even with broadband internet connections – and even longer with slower connections.

What’s all the fuss about these 24-bit files?2017-07-05T12:17:42-07:00

Remember the first time you saw a movie on BluRay? It’s kind of like that with 24-bit files. We promise, you’ll hear the difference! These are the highest quality files that exist for these releases – this is the way we hear the music during the mixing and mastering process. To be honest, we hate to even lower the quality of these pristine masters down to 16-bit/44.1k in order to release the music on CD. But, that’s where 24-bit comes in – try it, you’ll hear why!

If 24-bit files are so great, then why aren’t more of your releases available in that format?2017-07-05T12:17:42-07:00

We’ve really only been mixing/mastering at 24-bit quality for the past handful of years. Earlier titles were mixed and mastered at 16-bit/44.1k CD-quality, so that’s the highest level of quality available for those.

We wouldn’t simply bump 16-bit/44.1k releases to higher bit and sample rates just to call them “high res” or “high definition.” (Think of enlarging a photo larger than 100% of its original size…sure, it’s larger, but it’s also blurry). If the project wasn’t originally mastered at 24-bit resolution, then we won’t be offering it at that resolution. We just care too much about the quality to do it any other way.

We believe that music is art, and to us the album concept is sacred. As a label, we offer the music as it was originally envisioned by the artist – as a complete experience. Of course, there are other online outlets where individual tracks may be purchased individually.

There are a few options:

  • You can use the site search to enter the artist’s name or release title. You’ll find the search utility in the main site navigation at the top of the all pages.
  • You can also browse the Our Artists section, where you’ll find a complete discography on each artist page.
I made a mistake and ordered the wrong CD. Can I change my order?2017-07-05T12:17:44-07:00

It happens. We get it.

If you contact us right away, we’ll be happy to make any changes as long as your order hasn’t shipped yet. Likewise, if we find a problem with your order we’ll attempt to contact you – first by email and then by phone if we don’t reach you that way. If we’re unable contact you within one week, your order will be cancelled and your payment will be refunded.

Our store is secured using SHA-256 with RSA Encryption technology. We could try to explain all of those technical aspects, but the short story is: your data is as safe as we can make it.

Our site’s security is based on an SSL server that encrypts all of your information during the ordering process and gives you maximum security. In addition, we do not store any of your credit card information on our web servers. You can be sure your information is safe and secure when you place your order with us.

USA packages can take anywhere from 3–18 days, but typically arrive within a week to ten days (may take a few days longer to US territories and APO addresses).

Items shipped via Airmail to countries outside the US should take 4–10 business days, however, this can vary depending on the postal service in your country. It is rare for CDs to sit in customs for very long because they are small packets and usually aren’t subject to search, however there have been rare cases of long customs delays.
